So, last I left you all, I was recovering from Chelsea's birthday party. Friday was kind of a lax day. We got Chelsea a new phone, an
Envy 2, and then we went to the park and had a little picnic. Afterwards we headed home and ordered August Rush on pay-per view which was really pretty horrible. But I watched it. All.
Saturday I ended up going to a BBQ at Ananda and Jesse's, friends of Chelsea's from Parsons, and spent most of my day there with Chels. Curren and a few friends of hers went to the Mariners/Yankee game and came over later. It was a really diverse crowd. Lots of Canadians, some Australians, and a few Brits. The guys designing the new World Trade Towers were there which was cool. Some gal also brought some home made wine, and, if you know me, Im not really a wine person, but this stuff was A-Okay, so, I had a lot of that. After the BBQ we went to a bar in Greenpoint, the area we were in, called
Lost and Found, even though I kept calling it Hide and Seek, and they gave me free hot dogs with every beer I bought, they also had a two PBR for $5.00 special AND Ski-Ball, so, its kind of like the best bar ever. I mean, if your into that stuff, which, you should be.
Sunday we spent most of the day in Prospect Park and I of course got sun burnt. We had a Lincoln Deli sandwich picnic, the best kind, and played some really intense Frisbee which made me look super athletic and fit. I was the VIP. That night we ended up in Bushwick at Micah's place, on the top deck at another huge BBQ. Micah's building has four top floor apartments with a deck on each top floor. They are all divided by fences, but, they are easily jumpable, and, this was a two deck party where I just happened to learn the best game ever. Its called Boxing. You need four people to play. To boxers, and two trainers. The boxers have shot glasses full of beer in front of them, one each, and its the trainers job to keep them full at all times. The boxers roll one dice each, and, who ever gets the lower roll has to drink. Now, you do this for three minutes, for three rounds with one minute breaks in between. If the boxer you are playing with gets too drunk or throws up, they are KOed, and, you win. There are also a few doubles rules, but, I wont get into those. I never played three rounds in a row as I was sure I might die, but, I played a lot, and, its a really good, fun, social game. Also, you get real drunk.
Today we headed down to Park Slope to the Barnes and Noble there. We were going to have lunch down there, but, Curren got a text from Ambika (sp?) who was flying from Cairo to JFK, thus, coming to stay with us, so, we had to head home so she wasnt stranded at our apartment. It worked out for the best though because she got in and then we went to a new place by our Apt called
Abigail's. They have there the most delicious smoked Mac and Cheese ever to be created. They also had Rhubarb crumble as a desert option so it was kind of a perfect meal. Afterwards we hit up Franklin park for more drinking and have just now gotten home. Im really tired and I'll probably go to sleep pretty early, but, right now we are hanving an MGMT dance party so Im totally in.
Hope everyones weekend was lovely!

I would say last nights birthday extravaganza was very successful. Some highlights from the night are as follows:
-Hello Kitty Party favors (Sun Glasses, Rings with Lip Gloss and Purses)
-Original Sin Cider
-Gino's delivering some pizzas just when I needed it
-A Rabbi coming over to us, saying he wanted to make some new friends, handing over some shots of wiskey, and when we told him it was Chelsea's birthday he told us about Jewish birthday traditions in which the birthday haver can bless her friends and like wise. Chelsea then blessed people all night. When people blessed her I made them kiss her hello kitty ring like she was the Pope.
-Curren's birthday gift, a glorious toy Pegasus from Germany via the Time Sqaure Toys R' Us, knocked Chelsea's cell phone into a free shot of wiskey we got from a Rabbi. TRUE STORY.
-Many pictures taken in the Riley Cates "Word to your Mother" styling.
My Flickr is now home to some of the best drunken photography ever to be done. I highly suggest you take a look.

Sup Sup HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Today is Chelsea's birthday. As mentioned before festivities have be planned and I keep hearing rumors of Hello Kitty guest favors. Oooh! Kawaii Desu Yo! I'll probably look amazing in them. Pink is so my color. Unfortunately the weather here is a blow hard and we will have to do most of our drinking inside even thought Franklin Park has an awesome outside patio area.
Im about to hang out with
Sean T and then run into the city for some cupcakes. Im not going to lie. All I have been thinking about since Monday are these cupcakes. Im glad this place is too classy for its own good and I cant buy more than a certain amount without a special order or I'd probbaly go nuts and buy enough for 50 people. Between the cider and the cupcakes, its almost like a birthday party for myself. HAHAHAH.
I will, of course, be taking my camera tonight, so, check my flickr at some point for updated birthday extravaganza pictures. My summer scarf is probably going to make an appearance at this party, so, you will be able to find me easily in the pictures by looking for the most hip person there.
Edit: I've also added Tracy to the links as I just found out she blogs too. She always has like hot pictures of her cats and stuff on it. My kind of blog.

Vacations.

So, as of Monday I've started my two month vacation from Law and Order. My big goals for my time off are to not sleep in past noon, get a tan, and ah, sleep. Two days in and things are going pretty well.
I leave for Spokane in about three weeks and only have a few things planned till then. Chelsea's birthday is this Thursday and she is having a party at
Franklin Park. They have the most delicious cider there called Original Sin. Its like an apple party in my mouth but there is booze in it but I cant taste it. Its probably the best thing thats ever happened to me. I mean, in the last few weeks. Then, after that, skip forward to June 4th, Currens Birthday, which, Im sure there will be fun associated with as well, and then an M.I.A. concert on the 6th and then I leave the 7th for Spokane.
Spokane should be fun. I will have a backyard to tan in and I will get to drive around, which, I really miss. That plus lots of family time. Ben wanted to try and get out of Spokane for a weekend, but, Im not sure which one, or, where he wanted to go, so, we will see.
Also, Chelsea has requested cupcakes from
Magnolia, and, I dont mind getting them for her at all, because, then I get to eat some. They are super bangin.
Krista, one of my aunts, has started blogging about her day to day life as a mother of two of the cutest boys ever, as well as, just, you know life. I check it everyday and shall now give it a place of honor as a link on my blog. So, you know, the none people that read this can now read that too! Hooray!
With that, I shall go cut up some strawberrys and eat them, then finish watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade which I started last night.
Also, Please Note:
My Flickr has been taken over by Henry Cavill pictures. Dont worry, they will soon be moved to a new home.
