Chels and I started a running regiment last week running three days out of five. Its been really nice to be active again since I havent really had time to lately, and, as I don't have a gym membership anymore and it was until recently winter, exercising outside was not an option. This week, however, Im on late shift at work so running in the morning is going to be the theme of the week. Ive never really gotten up and taken a run (or slow jog, haha), but, I feel starting my day a little more energized and maybe a little sore, wont be the end of the world.

Side note: A bird pooped on me this weekend. I think I took it pretty well. It wasnt on my skin, only my clothes, so, I didnt really need to freak out too much. I, of course, blame Chelsea.

This coming week its supposed to be sunny and at the end of the week, warm. I need sunglasses. All the trendy ones I tried on this weekend looked hilarious and I really either need to start taking myself less seriously, which might be impossible, or I need to find some other styles. Halp.

Link City for today is....

TreeHugger

The Greenist of Green web sites, I love to browse this bad boy and see what conceptual things may soon become realities next. Its full of green tips, clothes, articles and news that should be more of many Americans common knowledge.

Link City is back and with five new entries. I will start with the dorky stuff and make my way down the list.

DVICE
DVICE is a new love affair of mine. Started checking it out in 07 and its still going strong in 08. Granted a lot of the posts are concepts, its still one of the most interesting, to me at least, sites to look at on a regular basis. No lack of updates and since its funded by Sci-Fi the content is always fresh and very nerdy. Its also worth noting that its very green.

Life Hacker
Life Hacker has taught me so much. How to repair dead pixels on a LCD screen. How to mod various electronics. And its even told me about some bangin applications I couldnt live without now. It might not end up being an everyday stop for you, but, at the end of the week when they do the best post round up, its worth a glance for sure.

Digg
The king of all link sites (sorry Fark.com, but it is) Digg is an easy way for you to see whats going on in the world of the internets. Digg is a gold mine for videos, news and everything else under the sun.

Outblush
Outblush is the Queen of all shopping blogs. I love this site like its my internet childrens. I end up lusting after a lot of the products that are posted and I certainly own a few things from it. The format of the blog is always pleasing to me and its brother site, Uncrate is excellent as well.

Gothamist
I get most, if not all of my New York news from Gothamist. They are always up-to-date with the times and they have great coverage of events Im not able to attend. I love the daily Extra, Extra and Pencil This In posts and since Gothamist is totally classier than Gawker, I never feel bad about reading NY Gossip from its virtual columns.
