Welcome to the wonderful month of June.

I'm in love with X & Y, the new Coldplay album. I know it's not out yet and I guess it's a little hasty to say Im in love with the whole thing since Ive only heard seven of the songs, but it's ridiculously good. I started out with mixed feelings when Speed of Sound came out. I didn't think it was too original or special for that matter. Fix you I heard on the OC and then SNL and I tell you what, its got to be one of my most favorite songs ever. Fix You might be impossible to not love. It's the kind of song that you don't need to get used to. Its an instant love affair. As for the rest of the album that I've heard, Low, Square One, Swallowed In The Sea, Talk, What If, and XY, I didn't think they were all that great at first either. I listened to every song once then went back to Fix You as my safety. That didn't last long. I don't know how Coldplay does it, but, even with one listen those songs were burned into my head. I was humming What If and Swallowed In The Sea and I didn't even know it. My uncertainty about the album lasted all of a few hours and now I don't feel like diversifying my play list at all. I'm sure the remaining songs will be just as brilliant as the ones I have come to love and honestly I cant wait for June 7th. I read an article yesterday that you can find here about X & Y. It expresses a lot of my feelings about the album and sheds a little more light on the genius that is Chris Martin. Anyways, I cant get enough of Coldplay. I do hope you'll check out the new album.

So, right, my weekend was good. I went to the lake with Jnell and her sister, got pretty red and then came home and tried to even out my swimming suit tan lines for the rest of the weekend. There was some Stargate, visiting with Grandparents, eating BBQ and lost of lounging.

Ive been working this entire week for EWU and I guess I'm not as badly off as I thought. I don't know if its normal, but, sometimes I just get tired of doing the same old thing. I know my job has a lot of diversity, but, I'm just tired of it in general. My meeting with NxNw told me that I have to hold out till July for another movie to start, but, I've been offered a paying job on set. Can you see me as a second, second assistant director? I know you don't have to go to Film School to work on Films or even be successful in the film business but I think I'd still like to go back to school eventually. For now, I'm gonna sit tight and get some work experience in. Even right out of school you have to start somewhere and I just might end up further in the business and in a career then those going to film school. Who knows. I'm gonna take what I can get.

My birthday is coming up fast. Please come.

P.S. Who else thinks the Live 8 Concerts are going to be amazing? I wonder if they will work.
