If you didn't know, today just happened to be national write essays for New York University day. It really is a pity if you forgot to take part in the activities. I myself did my best to participate and ended up getting much accomplished. I figure I should soon move onto my home work as it's important to have high grades on my transcript for NYU to pretend to be impressed with. The bitterness just never stops. From here to Valentines day. Honestly.
I bet you all think your Moms are a bit weird. Im here to tell you your Mom has nothing on my Mom. For the past month she has been making only one thing: Mini Muffins. Im not kidding when I say it's the only thing we have in the house to eat. Today we finally reverted back to full size muffins but they really turned out to be sedan size since she got a little carried away. My Mom just recently turned 52 as of the 3rd of March and she asked me to get her a mini trampoline for her birthday. (Why is everything mini?) So I did. What a mess. Like, have you ever gone down to the basement with the plan of catching some TV only to find your Mom jumping on a trampoline? Worst idea I ever had. The other day she told me she wanted some Lucky Jeans. I just wanted to be like, Mom, they don't make Luckys for 52 year old women. They are a teenager thing. Like, they sell them in the juniors section at Nordstroms. Oh well, what am I going to do about it. She is so weird.
I still owe her some Chocolate Cake. I gotta get on that.
This is my last week of school. Then onto finals week and I'm home free and onto NY for Spring Break. I'm not going back to Eastern for Spring Quarter for many reasons, but, mostly because it's a waste of time and money. I plan on keeping my job working on the EWU web site since a Rachel with money is a happy Rachel. There has been talk at NxNw of offering me a job as a Production Coordinator Assistant which would be rockin. I'll let you know more when I find out.
I really want to get into NYU.
This is official "Finish my Tisch Portfolio and NYU Application" week. Wish me luck.
