From K-K-K
Kelly!
1. Total amount of music files on your computer?
iTunes says that my moderate collection is topping off at 1355 songs, 3.7 days, 5.96 GB. Considering I got my computer up and running in December and I still have numerous Cd's to rip I'm doing okay.
2. The last CD you bought was?
Ah, hahah, maybe Keane's Hopes and Fears? I don't buy Cd's really. I mouch music a lot. What can I say.
3. What was the last song you listened to before reading this message?
SSh by Frou Frou
4. Write down five songs you often listen to or mean a lot to you.
-Love For Granted by Phoenix (that and pretty much the entire album on repeat)
-Across the Night by Silverchair (need I say more?)
-Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) by Arcade Fire (Do you know them? You should.)
-The Fool on the Hill by The Beatles (Classic)
-My British Tour Diary by Of Montreal (Honestly, I'm so new wave, I can barely stand myself.)
5. What new music are you really excited for in the coming year so far?
Coldplay. Oh yeah, and Coldplay. My good friend John Mayer is taking some time off to get his act together so when he hits the scene again I'm sure I'll be thrilled. Ah, Coldplay? Don't you think Maroon5 is about due as well?
6. What 5 people are you going to pass this baton to and why?
No one. Okay, well, I fear I will pass on the torch and they will ignore the pass off and the torch will fall and it will go out and the back up torch will be back in Athens and that's too far away to really help. So, how about, if you want to grace us with your musical preferences...
Steph "I just got the face book and you still don't have it" @ mopplepuppet (This includes Pete if he is so inclined)
Gilly (maybe some of the music I hooked her up with will make the list?)
Megan "I don't talk to any one any more I just write my these and watch LOST" Curren.
And that will do it.

8:00 PM
Well, the long application to NYU is finally finished. At approximately 3:03 pm today I walked into a Fedex/Kinkos with my teacher recommendation form and then quickly walked out with a receipt and tracking number.
My mile long list of things to do has grown substantially shorter. What is left has to either do with cleaning or the re-filling of prescription drugs since we all know I'm running a under the counter pharmacy of my own. Okay, I'm not.
So, other then doing a little web site work, I'm more then bored. I've been reading some and on top of that I've been discovering the world of anagrams, with a little help of course.
Since I have all this time on my hands I've been thinking about going shopping a lot. It's not like I need anything but it sure is a fun way to fill time. So far I have resisted. We will see how long that lasts.
In other news Salk Middle School is selling chocolate bars and have come to our house twice in the last thirty minutes. The first time my Mom opened the door and bought one bar. When I found out what had occurred I stole it from her and when she cornered me in the bath room I tried to buy it off her. She wouldn't give it up. So I was like, fine, keep your chocolate bar Gondor. See how far it gets you. About two minutes ago another girl came by and this time I got the door and came away with two glorious chocolate bars of my own. Take that biatch. I tipped the girl off that someone had already come down this street so she might want to take another route. She was a pretty bad sales woman but luckily I really wanted some chocolate so she made a good sale.
So, really, I just told you all a story about chocolate bars. That should be enough to demonstrate my lack of things to do. I was thinking I might go rent a few seasons on DVD of specific shows I have been wanting to see but I haven't gotten around to it yet. And now that I have all the time in the world to work out I don't have a gym membership. I was thinking the other day about getting one but what if I get into NYU summer session and I have to leave and in the end it would just be a waste of money. Ah well.
Um, last but not least, I ended up buying the greatest pants in the world in NY at another H&M (the first H&M didn't have my size) but now I'm topless. And we all know that's a horrible place to be. Ive been checking online for colors and styles I might like but Im gonna have to break down and go out with my pants to find something spectacular. Note: stores of consideration should be left in the comments section.

Hollar from Spo-diggity. I'm back from New York with many a picture and some stories too.
Thursday, after Gillian finished her classes, we high tailed it over to the Wicked Ticket Lottery to see if we was feelin lucky. Long story short-we weren't. We ended up walking all over the place so that I could see the sights of New York City (Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Trump Towers) and then back to her dorm room. We decided to hit up a theater to see Million Dollar Baby and since I HATE Regal we found a nice little AMC to go to and had a lovely time of it. You should know from about Thursday on Gillian was deathly sick with the black lung.
Friday we slept in and then hit the City. I had numerous things to turn in at three different offices so we got all my NYU applications taken care of first and were then on our way to lunch, some Starbucks and the Wicked lotto again. AGAIN we didn't win us any tickets. I was starting to think NY hated me. We didn't have any plans for the night so we hit up H&M where I found the greatest pants known to man, but, of course they didn't have them in my size. In fact they only had one pair left and it was on display. Great deal of good that did me. At Urban Outfitters I took part in a little cute shirt fun and we then headed back to the room with again no plans. No plans soon became plans to stand in line all night for SNL tickets since Paris Hilton was hosting and Keane was the musical guest. We grabbed all our stuff, got some Japanese take out, and then hiked all the way back to NBC. We arrived very excited only to find out that SNL had be pre-recorded because of the Easter weekend and that we were shit out of luck. Honestly. I wanted to cry. We dragged ourselves back to Gillian's room with nothing to do but when I discovered Stargate Atlantis was on I was set. After that we watched a little Mean Girls and hit the hay. Stargate is great.
Saturday we tried for Wicked tickets for the last time but I don't have to tell you how that turned out. We hit up TKTS (a place to get discounted Broadway tickets in Times Square) and picked up what we thought would be tickets to a good show: Little Women. After standing in line for an hour we did some more shopping (H&M and Lush) then hit up Central Park for a stroll and some pictures. After that we made our way into the Met to see some quality art. Outside of the Met I had a wonderful hotdog as suggested by Steph. After we stayed at the Met as long as we could (Little Women was at 8:00) we hopped in a taxi cab and went to the show. In all honesty, it was the worst show ever. I really wanted to see a show in NY as it is famous for its Broadway but I could have gone with out this one. Gillian agreed. To make up for the horrible show we treated ourselves to some late night food in Little Italy. Best Ravioli I ever had. This brings up what I really love about NY. You can waltz into Little Italy at 11:30 pm and things are still open. People are always about. There is always something going on, something to do. Other then London and Edinburgh and a little of Seattle, I've never been in a place like that. And I love it. Anyways, after the delicious dinner we headed back to Gillian's dorm one more time and hit the hay.
Sunday my plane took off for home at 2:50 and after a few delays and a little running to catch my plane in Salt Lake City I made it home. Even though Gillian is convinced I wont come back again I don't think I could pass up the chance too. I want to stay longer and see more things. I feel like if I had the chance too I could get to know the city much better. It's the kind of place you can build up a routine around. It's somewhere that's so huge and original that you can always be discovering new places to go and new things to do.
Below are many pictures from my trip. Check them out and don't forget to click to enlarge.
