I want to film a movie this summer.
I made it to Seattle and back with out any major damage. We, and when I say we, I mean my Mom and Dad and I because Ben stayed home to play video games in his underwear all weekend which consequently led to him contracting something like the chicken pox but not? Anyways, we rolled into Seattle and picked up Alyssa, a former next door neighbor now a UW graduate, and took her to lunch. Also at this alleged lunch was the infamous Tasha. We drove to her neck of the woods for lunch and she met up with us there wearing pretty much the same thing I had on minus the bad hair. What, you try taking a nap for a few hours using your coat as a pillow and then see what your hair looks like. Thanks. Anyways, We Red Robbined, bad hair and all, parted ways to soon with Tasha and took Alyssa back to her apartment. After the lunch/dinner rendezvous we headed to the Hotel which just happened to be on Lake Union. I'm gonna have to say the view from our room was glorious. After I tried to fix my hair, tried being the key word, I changed my clothes and we headed into the night to the only place that really matters: Ikea. I can't express my love for Ikea in words. I think that it can only really be appreciated in haiku form.
Title: Ikea, My Love.
Arrows Point The Way
Its Like Shopping In Heaven
Nothing Can Top It
I hope that Japanese work of art gives you the same tingles it gives me. So, Ikea, my first visit was glorious. We spent hours there. It was like I was on drugs. Everywhere I turned something else I never knew I needed was waiting for me. Awesome Ikea. Awesome. So, after Ikea we headed to "The SuperMall", which, frankly, wasn't "Super" at all. It was lame and everyone should know it. I got a high class umbrella at the Eddie Bauer Outlet and pretty much topped out. I think Ikea just took so much out of me. Anyways, we headed back to the hotel around 9:30, I took my contacts out, I tried to watch some TV but blurry images don't go over to well so I ate chips and salsa instead while listening to the news. After eating my weight in chips I wanted to go swim but I forgot my swimming suite so I went to sleep instead. It was an eventful night. I could have used something to do, but, it was ok, I slept instead. Sunday we high tailed it over to the car show where I sat in millions of dollars worth of cars while my dad had a hay-day taunting the show people with his superior knowledge about the cars on the floor. It was good times. We stopped off on Capitol Hill later and checked out Trader Joes, another first for me, then headed out of town after a quick stop in Issaquah for some snacks. I really love Seattle. It has everything in it a city should. Spokane is just an unsatisfactory place to live. I tire of it more and more each day. The opportunities in Seattle are just so many more then in Spokane. It's like the people in Seattle are just more willing to live.
Anyways, Ben bought Xbox Live and we have commenced world domination of Battlefront through the internet. It's not like you didn't know it was going to happen. Veterans Day is Thursday which equals Rachel not having any school. I'm sure it will be spent in front of the TV getting Carpal Tunnel from the Xbox remote. I have a lot to look forward to.
