Revenge of the SITH

Ok. Ok. Ok.

I don't know how many of you know this about me but ever since 4th grade I have been completely enthralled with the Star Wars Universe. Up until that point in my life Jabba the Hutt scarred me so badly that every Thanksgiving when Star Wars was on USA I couldn't watch it. I'm not sure how I got passed my fear of Jabba but once I did there was no turning back. Through the years my interest has grown along with the franchise and when George Lucas announced the prequels would be made I'm pretty sure I was beyond ecstatic about it. Fittingly enough, I ruined The Phantom Menace for myself. Living at the trusty TheForce.net I buried myself in spoilers till I could recite the opening crawl and tell you scene by seen what was going to be happening in the movie. I knew each new character and species as well as planet that would be reveled in May of 1999. Of course after TPM, Attack of the Clones was produced and I had an unhealthy interest in Hayden Christensen so I naturally became just as obsessed with AOTC. With Revenge of the Sith hitting theaters in 2005 I can safely say that I have not spoiled myself once with information; until tonight. The infamous Fat Chris from across the street IMed me the other day asking me if I had heard about the Episode III trailer. At that time I was incidentally playing Star Wars Battlefront and I couldn't be bothered with his fat ramblings. Since then I have been trying to fight it. All it took was one weak moment and a visit back to the old TheForce.net for me to crumble under pressure and read all about the first Episode III teaser trailer. It got me so excited I had to blog about it. Christ. I will never escape Star Wars. And frankly, I don't want to. I'm just warning you: as time goes by you might just become Star Wars aficionados (did you know what word started with an A? Because I had no idea) yourself from all the random Star Wars babble that is sure to make its way here. If you could keep your harassment and brutal insults to me and my nerdy past time to a minimum, Steph and Curren, it would be appreciated. Oh, and Tash, you me and Celebration III baby.

Also, interesting fact, Return of the Jedi was to be named Revenge of the Jedi back in 83' but Lucus decided that Jedi's don't take revenge (duh), so, it's not surprising that this movie has such a name. I was really bitter about this at first since of course all the normal people in the world wouldn't know this knowledge and just think of it as a cool name, but no, it has history and now you know. Go tell a friend and amaze them with you extensive knowledge. Thanks. Now I'm gonna go play Battlefront.
