Well, I jumped the gun on the iPod post. Ben had called me using threatening words such as "Im buying an iPod" and "they have them in-stock ", but when he returned home with my parents from shopping he was iPod-less. All the places they had checked didn't have crap for crap. My dad finally got a hold of someone at the Best Buy in the valley and found out they had iPod's there. He put two on hold. Two you say? Ben, the Dudley Dursley of the Cates family needs two iPods? Why no, one was for me. I can proudly say that I am the new owner of an Apple iPod. It's the prettiest thing Ive even seen. Plus, I really couldn't have purchased it at a better time. With Operation Pancreas only four short days away I know I'll be getting a lot of use out of it.
Also, if I even make it to an Eastern football game and stay for more then five minutes Im going to be amazed. Saturday Jen and I cruised into Cheney and Mischa and Timmy called us right as we got into the parking lot. Miscah, Timmy, Bobby and Bryan all lived on Jens floor her freshmen year and they now live together in random pairs in apartments in Cheney. We headed over to Miscah and Timmy's to play some drinking games with the rest of the boys as well as Katie and Andrew, but we then had to leave unexpectedly. Matt, who was unbelievably drunk and wandering around EWU's campus, called Jen and we thought it best to pick him up before the cops did. He had left a Frat party and kept telling us he would meet us at the gates of the school, but, EWU doesn't have gates. We finally found him sitting at a bus stop and took him back to the boys place were the drinking games kicked off again. I was putting back water like it was going out of style while Jen got housed, like the weekend before, off Keystone, Bud and some Bush. I lost rock, paper, scissors. What can I say. Its alright though, I honesty forgot how much fun those boy could be. Even as drunk and sometimes hilariously vulgar as they were.
