Summer

Today is the first official day of Summer. Thus I ask you this: those days we had before summer officially started that were too hot to be spring days and to sunny to be anything BUT summer, but not official summer as it were, what are they called? Thats right, there is no such term to explain unofficial summers days. So, to right this most horrible wrong someone should pay me to make up a name for these days. I bet I could convince Bush to pay me for something like that, especially if I told him it would help with the War Against Terror.

Today was most typical. Work, talk online, eat dinner, have nothing to do because I live in Cheney and wait for Jen to get home. Of course Im not all the way through my forecasted day but its looking to shape up exactly as I have foreseen.

My weekend plans for this weekend have been foiled as I seam to have plans that I didnt know about (Hoopfest). Jen's brother Josh (sisters husband) is playing on a team with a few buddies from work so Jen and I are going to watch him play. Oh, news flash...I bet your like, what the F is Hoopfest? Well, in short its the largest three on three basketball tournament in THE WORLD. Mostly its a bunch of sweaty guys in the streets of downtown Spokane along with scantily clad girls who are watching them. They have junior teams and old guy teams and girl teams and mixes as well. Check this link out for more
Hoopfest. All in all its a sweaty good time but this weekends weather is kind of looking shifty. Oh well. Thats Spokane for you.

Speaking of plans, Im going to see Gavin Degraw on Wednesday at the Big Easy. As I haven't been before and I love Gavin Im way excited. More of a reason for me to break out my new clothing.

I guess I could go to the lake on Saturday still.

One day.
