Yesterdays birthday shopping was the most successful Rachel shopping trip in the last 4 years. Im sure I have complained about this before but in these present times its hard to find shorts that A.) Dont ride up your ass and B.) are long enough to cover some of my legs. This being a constant problem for me I had given up hope where shorts were concerned. With my long legs even long shorts look too short. But, to my surprise, I bought a total of three pairs of shorts. Thus, this summer is bound to kick ass. I grabbed some tank tops, capris and some jeans as well rounding out a wonderful trip to the Mall. Spending money that isnt yours is so much better then anything else. Plus Ben, being lazy and not wanting to buy me anything, just threw some money at me and said Happy Birthday. Hollar.
So, last night I went out to The Grail, a dance club/bar in Post Falls, ID. We showed up and it was like dead and then all of a sudden people just rushed the place. We had to pioneer the dance floor since everyone else was being junior high and not dancing but then once we got out there people join in on the fun. I played darts and pool and just had a good time. Kayla, Jen, Adam and Nick, Adams younger brother, all came out. Nick, who is 21, can dance like no ones bisnass. He is BY far the best dancer I know and was of course the best guy in the club. He would just break out and start doing crazy shit and Jen and I would just shake it in the background, back up dancer style. It was tons of fun. We got back into Spokane at about 2:30ish and decided to stay at Kari and Adams because I didnt want to drive back out into Cheney so Jen and Nick and I all crashed on the sofa bed and woke up this morning to waffles made with love and chocolate chips by Kayla. I brought Jen back to my parents house so she could grab her car and go to work and now Im just chillin with my parents before they go to church. I still need to shower and work some today but Ive really got to get going since Sarah, Kaylas youngest sister, is having her graduation party at 4:00 today. I plan on breaking out more new clothing to the event.
Ok, Im gonna go take a shower and figure out what Im wearing to the party.
Happy Fathers Day Dad. FYI, Fathers day was invented in Spokane, bet you didnt know that.
Oh, and Gillian has a LJ now. I suggest you read it for wonderful grammar and spelling skills but also because Gillian is just that cool. References to me will be made in the LJ so that alone should be enough to get you over there.
Whats better then free nights and weekends I ask you?
OH! And my John Mayer tickets came UPS yesterday. WOOOO.
